Fraunhofer FOKUS defines itself as a partner for scientific transfer, i.e., we bring scientific approaches into application through our own technical solutions using scientific methods for our customers and partners in SMEs and large-scale industry, administration, politics, and research.

To this end, we work on national, European, and international research and development projects of all sizes. We support our partners in projects from planning to piloting and implementing the developed solutions. We offer access to a world-class R&D infrastructure and test environments, internationally renowned and interdisciplinary Fraunhofer expertise, and an international network of experts from all research, industry, administration, and politics areas. You can work with us on individual projects or as part of long-term cooperation agreements. 

Our technologies and solutions are scientifically sound, based on years of industry knowledge and practical experience, and implemented in close coordination with our partners and users. We guarantee neutrality from manufacturers, independence from policy-driven interests, and technological interoperability.
