Dr. Jens Klessmann

Dr. Jens Klessmann is Head of the Digital Public Services division and head of a specialist group in the field of data infrastructures in the public sector.

Dr. Muhammad Ahtisham Aslam is a research associate at Digital Public Services and an associate professor at the Gujranwala Institute of Future Technologies.

 

Lina Bruns

Lina Bruns has been a research assistant since 2017 and conducts research primarily in projects related to data and digital strategy.

 

Juan Carlos Carvajal Bermúdez

Juan Carlos Carvajal Bermúdez works as a project manager and is involved in the development and conception of research projects.

 

Benjamin Dittwald

Benjamin Dittwald is Head of the Open Service Engineering (OSE) specialist group.

 

Majid Salehi Ghamsari

Dipl.-Inform. Majid Salehi Ghamsari has been working as a research associate in the Digital Public Services division since 1995.

 

Dr.-Ing. Yury Glikman

Dr. Yury Glikman heads the Open Service Engineering (OSE) research group and is also deputy head of the Digital Public Services division.

 

Stefanie Hecht

Stefanie Hecht heads the Open User Lab, which deals with topics relating to the user experience, accessibility and sustainability of digital solutions.

 

Christine Hennig

Christine Hennig coordinates projects of the National Research Data Initiative with a focus on data science and artificial intelligence.

 

Fabian Kirstein

Fabian Kirstein is a software developer with a focus on linked open data, service-oriented architectures, distributed ledger/blockchain technologies and decentralized data management.

 

Dipl.-Inf. Ekkart Kleinod

Dipl.-Inf. Ekkart Kleinod advises public institutions on the modernization of their software systems.

 

Susanna Kuper

Susanna Kuper advises on federal, state and municipal level in various projects on UX, usability and digital accessibility.

 

Maximilian Kupi

Maximilian Kupi is a research associate at the Competence Center Public IT (ÖFIT) with a focus on data analysis, AI and digital administration.

 

Dipl.-Inf. Nadja Menz

Nadja Menz has been working at the institute since 2010 and has been head of the specialist group and responsible for the research group Specialist Processes and Secure IT Infrastructures since 2019.



 

Nicole Opiela

Nicole Opiela  is deputy head of the Competence Center Public IT (ÖFIT) and researches socio-technical trends and developments in the federal system.

 

Prof. Dr. jur. Peter Parycek

Prof. Dr. Peter Parycek heads the Competence Center Public IT (ÖFIT), which develops impulses for the digital transformation of the public space. 

 

Michael Peters

Michael Peters is a research associate in the Open Service Engineering specialist group in the Digital Public Services (DPS) division.

 

Jana Plomin

Jana Plomin advises in the Open User Lab on digitization projects on the topics of user centricity, UX and digital accessibility. 

 

Alinka Rother

Alinka Rother works as a research assistant on digital policy issues, particularly with regard to public administration.

 

Liadán Sage

Liadán Sage works in the Competence Center Public IT (ÖFIT) on topics in the field of innovative government and digital participation. 

 

Prof. Dr. Sonja Schimmler

Prof. Dr. Sonja Schimmler is a research group leader at Fraunhofer FOKUS and a visiting professor at the Technical University of Berlin, where she heads the Research Data Infrastructure department.

Juliane Schmeling is a project manager in the Business Processes and Secure IT Infrastructures research group and conducts research in the field of digital public governance.

 

Dipl.-Ing. Jens Tiemann

Jens Tiemann works in the field of internet/networking and new technologies and deals with the technical foundations of digitalization.

 

Tianxiang Wang

Tianxiang Wang is in the research group “Business Processes & Secure IT Infrastructures” and focuses mainly on full-stack development for the Possible project.

Dr. Mike Weber is deputy head of the Competence Center Public IT (ÖFIT) and deals with trend and future research, administrative innovation research and the digital transformation of civil society.
