Education and profession

Daniel holds a Master's degree (M.Sc) in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and is specialized in advanced computer architecture. He currently works as a researcher for the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS as part of the Quality Engineering for Quantum Computing research group. In his work at Fraunhofer FOKUS, Daniel is involved in several industry and research projects in the fields of quantum computing, artificial intelligence, IoT, IT security and telco. His main interest is researching efficient application development and implementation of algorithms especially in the quantum domain (Quantum DevOps). Other areas of interest are quantum computing, quantum networks, IoT, Industry 4.0, 5G/6G, AI, robots and the high-level quantum  programming language Qrisp.
