Collaborative Safety and Security

Research in the business unit Collaborative Safety and Security aims to develop technological foundations for security and safe living. The approach of “collaborative security and health” aims at integrating technical, organizational as well as economic and sociological-legal requirements for security from the private and public sectors as well as from the health care system into holistic solutions. These are then transferred into practical applications with special consideration for their value for the population. With its interdisciplinary team of about 60 researchers, developers and professors, we offer many years of expertise in the development and implementation of information systems in the field of security and health. In very close cooperation with users from public authorities, critical infrastructures and industry, often over many years, we develop systems and ensure the operation and continuous development of the technologies through partner companies and spin-offs.
